Sephora China has had tremendous growth over the last few years and was experiencing a disconnect between their stores and main supply chain team. They implemented JDA’s Category Management solution, including Space Planning, Floor Planning, and Category Knowledge Base to help improve collaboration with their suppliers and create localized assortments and planograms for store-level execution.

Sephora opened its first store in China in Shanghai in 2005. Now, Sephora operates 128 stores in all major cities in China. It has introduced many unique brands in China, such as: Skin Vitals Fusion Beauty, For Beloved One, Eisenberg, Diesel, Harajuku Lovers, etc.
