Smart Factory Expo is Europe’s biggest showcase for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) - a revolution in manufacturing agility, innovation and thinking.
Smart Factory Expo is where technology, finance and manufacturing meet – with a track record of delivery that saw 3968 visitors, 118 exhibitors and live coverage on BBC News. The exhibition that sets the digital manufacturing agenda is doubling in size for 2018 – and set to attract over 6000 visitors and 200 exhibitors, making us one of the world’s largest showcases for digital manufacturing.

Digital Manufacturing. Delivered

Smart Factory Expo is comprised of six dedicated exhibition zones - Industrial Automation, Internet of Things, Digital Transformation, Smart Factory, Manufacturing Innovation, Industrial Data. Running through the entire exhibition is ‘Innovation Alley’ - a showcase for manufacturing tech start-ups, ensuring that the whole 4IR ecosystem is represented.

Largest ever programme of free presentations

Over 200 free-to-attend presentations run concurrently on the exhibition floor in dedicated Solutions Theatres combine to create the world’s biggest Industry 4.0 learning programme - open to manufacturers at all stages of their digital journey.
These are exciting times in UK industry - with outstanding economic performance in 2017, and the country’s manufacturers standing on the cusp of a technology revolution that plays to the UK’s strengths as one of the world’s leading digital economies.

Smart Factory Expo is organised by The Manufacturer magazine - the journal of record of British industry for over 20 years. With over 144k readers in print and online, The Manufacturer magazine organises the largest network of manufacturing events in the country, including Digital Manufacturing Week - a national celebration of advanced manufacturing held annually in Liverpool, at the heart of the UK’s biggest manufacturing region.
