To ensure this complex job goes off without a hitch, Supply Chain teams work with a network of more than 50 distribution centers, thousands of accountants, and more than 100,000 retail stores worldwide — making the impossible happen every single day.

The Logistics Center of Excellence is looking for an Supply Chain Project Lead. You will be part of a team that delivers logistics capabilities continuously, applying Agile methodologies. To ensure we do the right thing for our consumers at any time, you work in strong partnership with the ELC (European Logistic Campus) functions and Market Place Operations teams in our European Head Quarters. You will play a key role in embedding the “Agile way of capability building” into the wider organization by guarding processes and behavior and training people. You are part of the End to End team (E2E), where the E2E Capability Manager will take care of your development and coaching.
  • As an Supply Chain Project Lead you will work on one or more bold objectives, in support of the Nike strategy.
  • You build & guard the “Agile way of capability building and E2E thinking” and train people. You are both the coach and teacher.
  • As a real ambassador you ensure capability building methodologies will be adopted by the wider organization.
  • You build strong partnership with internal and external teams and facilitate conversations to continuously implement effective solutions.
  • You guarantee continuous alignment and agreement with various stakeholders.
  • You support the team in keeping the work on track (30-60-90 day roll out plans) and review and prioritize while learning.
  • You are in constant search for improving our way of working and are willing to learn by doing.
  • You can think conceptually and translate a vision into a solution recommendation, using fact-based scenarios. You define the necessary data analysis.

  • Reasoning on master level.
  • Passionate about Logistics and Supply Chain, as enablers to fulfill rising consumer’s expectations.
  • Strong communication- and facilitation skills, written and verbal (English required).
  • Strong networking and relationship building skills with the ability to build bridges.
  • A positive mindset to continously improve in a learning organization. Tolerant for ambiguity.
  • Strategic- and E2E thinking.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (MS Excel and Powerpoint).
  • Experience in (basic) project management or Agile is a plus, but not a must.
